One of the directors requested a wine cellar addition after I had already completed most of the space planning and overall layout of the public areas at Mokuti Etosha Lodge.
The wine cellar needed to be positioned near the restaurant and hotel bar, allowing guests to conveniently select their preferred wine to pair with their meal.
To ensure immediate enjoyment, the wine had to be properly chilled.
Additionally, a substantial selection needed to be displayed, offering guests a diverse range of choices to find the perfect bottle.
To integrate the wine cellar into the lodge’s design, I positioned it adjacent to the restaurant and just behind the hotel bar, ensuring easy access for guests selecting a bottle to pair with their meal.
The cellar was designed with climate-controlled storage to keep wines at optimal serving temperatures, allowing for immediate consumption.
A carefully curated display was incorporated, showcasing a substantial selection of premium wines and Champaignes that guests could easily find their preferred bottle.
The design balanced functionality with aesthetics, creating an inviting and sophisticated display space that enhanced the overall dining experience.
